Hey fellow poetry lovers!

It's that time of year when we take a little extra time to renew our relationship with poetry. I'm sure you appreciate poetry all year long and it's a part of your ongoing life, but in April it's nice to give it that extra push and go out and discover something new or share our love for good poetry with someone who hasn't had the same experience. 
     
I started this poetry blog this year as an outlet to share some of my own poetry and also to share some of the poetry by other poets that I've met and whose poetry I respect. That part of the vision hasn't started yet.

This seems like the right time of year to really get this blog off the ground and post some real gone new poems by real cool everyday people of various ages, races, genders and occupations like yourselves.

If you have an original poem to share feel free to post it or a link to it in the comment section or go ahead and email me a copy along with a photo or original art and I'll post it to the Real Gone Poetry page if it's one I dig. I know some of you young adventurers out there must have some new poetry bubbling up from deep down. You know who you are.

And if you're not a writer but a poetry lover be sure to subscribe so you get all the latest poems being posted and feel free to post your comments and let us know about the poetry you've been exploring.
